Traditional Karate

Traditional Karate beginner students attend 2 white belt classes per week.  See our schedule for class times.

Karate for Kids (ages 7-13) for ages 5-6 see our Little Griffin program

We love teaching karate to kids!  Our goal is to build independent, confident, strong minded, resilient people.  Karate is the tool we use to foster these traits.  Through encouragement to work hard and have fun we teach them the relationship between effort and intrinsic rewards. We motivate students to test their limits physically and mentally so they come to understand their own individual potential.  Parents can enjoy watching their child's class on our online Zoom feed.

Please visit our Schedule page.

Classes are ongoing.  Start anytime!  Visit our "2 week trial" page to see how you start.

Teen & Adult Karate (ages 14 & up)

Good values are an integral part of our Traditional Karate Program. Awareness and self-control are all familiar to the martial artist. Students who achieve these qualities have been known to avoid confrontations and defuse potentially hostile situations.

Teen and Adult students (ages 14 and up) who train 2 hours per week will increase awareness and develop the ability to effectively protect themselves by being introduced to the self-defensive concepts of Traditional Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate.

We offer noon and evening classes so you can get all your training in!  See our schedule and contact us for more information.

At Fighting Griffin Family Karate we understand the benefits of blending traditional and modern training concepts into an inclusive martial arts program.
